It all started back in 1964. That’s when The Columbus Zoo took an interest in his feeble attempt to take photos of the animals of the zoo. It was Jack Hanna himself that he would be the official Jr. Photographer for the Columbus Zoo. Some of these same basic techniques he was taught carry through today, and still uses them to attempt to capture the world and all the adventure there is to see. He was lucky enough in Nashville, Tennessee from 1968 to 1971 to be a Jr. Photographer of the Nashville newspaper, The Tennesseian. He received instruction in seminars and from professional photographers. His photography has been published many many times. He has had formal training in high school, Jr. College and college and the United States Air force as a Photographer. He does not have a journalism degree, but a very creative eye. He never wanted to make photography his main stay, but it was his relaxation passion from shooting animals, old buildings, covered bridges, and some of those were turned into postcards to the weddings he does to this very day. He would like to share his knowledge, and some of his passion of all of the informal and formal training he has rec’d over the years so others young and old can experience some of the joy of making memories. If anyone would ever need any basic photography training, he would so enjoy helping them understand the art of photography and helping them understand that when you capture moments in time…they are unforgettable and irreplaceable. Weddings are timeless, just as any special event in each and everyone’s lives.
